Our first time at the Palio! What an amazing event. We were in the Piazza Del Campo from 1pm until after the race and it was incredible the vibe from all the people as the town centre slowly filled up. This race has been run for hundreds of years and is definitely a bucket-list item. Easy to get to from Florence by bus or car. A true italian classic.
