On the day of the Palio in Siena, all ten contradas (contrade) conduct a blessing of the horse (and jockey) around 3:00 p.m. This is the blessing of the Panther (Pantera) horse, named Indianos, guided by his jockey (fantino), Andrea Mari (Brio).
